Melting Moments

I couldn’t make my mind up
I was really spoilt for choice
My hands were all too willing
Though hesitant was my voice

Should I have that chocolate cake
It looks so very tasty
But the battenberg looks nice
Oh! I mustn’t be too hasty

And I’ve always had a passion
For a strawberry cream tart
And the crumbly cream meringue
Is such a work of art

Ah! but I am on a diet
And the pounds I have to shed
Please may I have a delicious...crisp bread.
